The License Commission of the Americas (TLCTA) issues licenses in North, South and Central America in the natural therapies professions. These licenses are legal in those states and provinces of North America where the state is not currently licensing that particular profession. They are also legal in the states, districts and countries of Central and South America where the government is not already licensing that profession.

All TLCTA licenses for a specific profession in any jurisdiction will become void when the government starts issuing licenses in that profession. In that case TLCTA will turn over to the government a complete list of professionals within the government's jurisdiction who are licensed in that profession.

TLCTA will cooperate with all government officials to obtain a license from that government for the professionals currently licensed by TLCTA.

TLCTA has two primary missions in providing licenses to qualified professionals in the Americas:

Mission One

The first mission of TLCTA is to be an outsourcing provider of licensing services to states, provinces and federal governments for the natural therapies professions.

Mission Two

Our second mission is to license natural therapies professionals in those states, provinces and countries where such licenses are legal; and to assist them in becoming licensed in their jurisdiction when such licenses are available.

Overview

TLCTA believes licensing by states, provinces and other governmental jurisdictions best serves the public. Where such licenses are not available, and where governmental regulations permit, we believe a lawful license issued by TLCTA is the next best thing for these reasons:

1. Licensing of professionals in the natural therapies professions is not economically feasible for most governments because of high expenses and small numbers of qualified practitioners.
   
   
2. Outsourcing to TLCTB where we pool professionals from several jurisdictions is economically feasible.
   
   
3. The best source for the initial group of licensees for any profession is those professionals who are already licensed by TLCTA.
